Yesterday
Set upon a path
Circled for a spot
Climbed up the endless stairs
And there I met you

Yesterday
Was not so much yesterday
Many years have past
Many life adventures embarked
But does not feel as so many years

Years
All unique
Yet with you
All challenges appear simple
And because of you

Years
Seem so long
Yet so short
Pass away in a wink
And yet fractions of a decade

Decades
Do not appear so long
If compared with time with you
While yesterday, we just met
Today, we passed 2.5 decades

Time
Feels so long
Yet can be so fast
If only you have the right partner
As I do
