Words

by Eric Y. Theriault

Many words,
Left unsaid,
As we converse,
With the same 5 words,
Day after day.

There is more to say,
To a woman;
with your beauty,
But would you want,
To share them with me?

See you from afar;
See you across my desk.
And without much said,
I wonder in my head,
Which words to say.

Come from,
Very different worlds;
Miles and miles apart;
But you intrique me,
As a Pianist does his Piano.

I may say,
Many more words today,
If only you would,
Only share my interest,
This once.

Endless Legs,
And a powerful mind,
Which words could I say,
To interest you to dinner,
To share more than words.
